Lucy was born in Puerto Rico to Garifuna parents and grew up in New York City. Her love for visual storytelling drives her work as a freelance photographer, and she takes pride in capturing moments that truly matter. Growing up in NYC during the vibrant 1990s shaped her perspective on life and inspired her to pick up a camera to document the world around her.

What began as a simple way to capture her children’s sports memories quickly turned into a professional path. Now pursuing her master’s degree in journalism, Lucy is sharpening her skills and deepening her passion for storytelling. With every photo she takes, she strives to refine her craft and leave a lasting impact in the sports and journalism communities.
